Which footballers have ended scoring droughts with a goal off their backside? | The Knowledge - 足球直播

John Cant recently observed: "Oli McBurnie has returned to the Scotland squad. With his record of 16 appearances (now 20) and no goals, he remarked in a recent interview, 'a tap-in on Saturday or one that goes in off my backside would be lovely.' Players often mention their backside when discussing ending a goal drought—but has that ever actually happened?"

We envisioned an ideal response to this query: a usually prolific striker enduring a dry spell, only to have a stray clearance bounce off their rear and trickle over the line at a snail's pace. Unfortunately, no such case emerged—but all backside goals possess a certain gritty appeal, so let's dive in.
